Yet another study (published here) found that caffeine combined with EHT (a compound found in coffee beans) provided protective benefits to rats that were genetically predisposed to developing Parkinson’s.
Instant coffee is great when you need a pick-me-up but don't have a coffee maker. Unlike ground coffee, instant coffee granules are made from dehydrated brewed coffee. Although this means you can't make the actual granules at home, instant coffee is still an easy, tasty way to get your caffeine fix! Because the ground coffee beans in cold-brewed coffee never come into contact with heated water, the process of leaching flavor from the beans produces a chemical profile different from conventional brewing methods.[14][15] Coffee beans contain a number of constituent parts that are more soluble at higher temperatures, such as caffeine, oils and fatty acids.
